A Chain Gang regular, who I’ve never met, is Roberto Peixoto from Brazil. He’s a keen photographer and takes a video camera with him whenever he travels.
Two years ago Roberto joined us in Provence, and if you search on Youtube you’ll find a video of his holiday with us. Actually you’ll find quite a few videos, some with The Chain Gang, and some doing various other things.
Some of you will know that YouTube has a 10-minute limit on videos, so the Provence vid is split into two parts. Click on the links below to have a look:
Part 1
Part 2
While I was watching the videos I found myself thinking ‘What about the ruined citadelle at Les Baux de Provence? What about the Lubéron Hills? Can’t those Cicadas make a bit less noise?
I was also thinking ‘There are only six people in this group’, and if I wanted to persuade people to join a Chain Gang holiday I’d like to show them a video of a group with 12 people. It always seems to me that it looks like more fun.
But, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And every person in this video has been on another holiday with us since Roberto shot this video. That makes me so proud, I can’t tell you.
Alan, Bronagh, Richard, Pete and Felicity, thank you, and you especially should have a look at Roberto’s videos, because you’re in them!
